WHAT'S HIK HASI?

HIK HASI is a project born in 1995 founded by the iniciativeof an ample group of educators with the aim of being a site of information, debate and a meeting place for all the Basque educational agents.

The basis and characterisitics of its action are: Basque, national, belonging to all the Basque educational actors, comprehensive, open, plural and independent.

We claim the right to have our own Basque educational system, estable and basque speaker teachers, a descentralizing model where we can make our own decisions and not depending on others taken outside Euskal Herria, and the autonomy of schools. Only that way may garantee an education of quality for all the citizens.

On the way, HIK HASI has produced different works: the educational revue HIK HASI, the summer courses, monografics and books on education themes, the gide of pedagogic resources of Euskal Herria, a collection of children games´ songs and tales, methodes of music, audiovisual material...

To HIK HASI all the contributions are vital, and therefore, the doors are open.
